There are many practical ways to contribute to the life of St. Nicholas School and the community it serves.

Beyond financial donations, many forms of support help sustain the daily life of the school — from providing meals and learning materials to improving facilities and infrastructure.

Current Needs / Priority Projects
Join us for exciting projects that support our mission!
St. Nicholas School continues to grow in response to the needs of the children and families it serves. Alongside ongoing operational support, several priority projects are currently being developed to strengthen the school’s learning environment and student wellbeing.
Organisations and individuals who wish to contribute to these initiatives are welcome to contact the Foundation to discuss how they can help.
Playground and School Yard Improvements
The school is planning improvements to the playground and surrounding yard, including enhanced drainage and flood protection. This project will create a safer outdoor space where students can play, exercise, and participate in physical activities.
Support may include construction materials, technical expertise, or funding for the project.
Library and Learning Resources
The school aims to expand its library facilities and increase access to books and learning materials that support literacy development across all age groups.
Support may include book donations, shelving and furniture, or assistance in developing the library space.
Science Laboratory and Health Clinic Upgrades
Plans are underway to improve the existing science laboratory and develop a more fully equipped health clinic to support student wellbeing and science education.
Contributions may include laboratory equipment, medical supplies, furniture, or technical expertise.
Solar Power and Energy Efficiency
To improve sustainability and reduce operational costs, the school is exploring expanded solar energy solutions and energy-efficient lighting.
Support in renewable energy systems, equipment, or installation services would contribute significantly to this initiative.
Transport Support
The school relies on transportation to ensure students and staff can travel safely to and from school.
Future plans include maintaining and potentially expanding transport capacity through vehicle support or maintenance partnerships.

How your support is used
Support provided to St. Nicholas School directly sustains the school's daily operations and the well-being of the children it serves. Contributions from donors, partners, and supporters help maintain a stable learning environment where students can focus on their education and development.
Resources received through donations and partnerships support several key areas of the school’s operations.
Education and Learning
Support helps provide essential learning materials, classroom resources, and equipment that enable teachers to deliver the national curriculum and enrichment programmes.
This includes books, stationery, educational supplies, technology, and materials used for arts, music, and extracurricular activities.
Student Nutrition
Two nutritious meals are provided to every student each school day. Contributions to the feeding programme support the purchase of food supplies, kitchen equipment, and the operation of the school’s catering services.
Proper nutrition plays an important role in helping students concentrate, participate, and succeed academically.
Health and Student Well-being
Support also contributes to students' health and welfare. The school provides basic healthcare, first aid support, health screenings, and hygiene education.
In some cases, the Foundation also assists children with serious medical needs who require additional support.
Facilities and Infrastructure
Maintaining safe and functional school facilities is essential for a stable learning environment. Contributions may support building maintenance, classroom furniture, utilities, sanitation, and improvements to school infrastructure.
Community Support and Development
The Foundation also works with families and the wider community to strengthen the environment in which students live and learn. Contributions may help support community initiatives, family assistance programmes, and partnerships that improve long-term opportunities for students.
To maintain transparency, the Foundation ensures resources are used responsibly and directed toward initiatives that most directly benefit students and the school community.
