The daily life of St. Nicholas School is shaped by a dedicated team of teachers, staff, and administrators who work together to support the learning and well-being of every student. Led by the Headteacher, the school team includes experienced educators and support staff from the Tema New Town community, all committed to creating a safe and inspiring environment where children can learn and grow.
Alongside the school team, the work of St. Nicholas is strengthened by the guidance of our Board of Trustees and the support of many volunteers, partners, and supporters who contribute their time and expertise to the school’s mission.

Country Director
Patrick Nimako Mensah

Patrick leads the strategic and operational work of St. Nicholas Charity Foundation School, coordinating staff, partners, and programmes to support the school’s long-term mission. He holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Head of Academics
Evans Koblah Setuagbe

Evans has been teaching Mathematics at St. Nicholas since 2021 and currently oversees the academic progress of final-year students. He supports students in exam preparation and provides academic mentoring across subjects. Evans holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba.

Social Worker
Ruth Adjoa Nterful

Ruth has served as the school’s Social Worker since 2020, supporting students’ emotional and social well-being. She leads the Girls Empowerment Program, where she advocates for girls’ rights, leadership, and self-confidence. Ruth holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, India.

Richard Kwabena Nsarkoh
Headmaster
Mr. Richard kwabena Nsarkoh is a passionate Ghanaian Educationist and Social Activist who has been in the educational space for 17 years now. He is the Headmaster of the school with rich experience gathered over the years because of the leadership roles and important educational services he has provided to various educational institutions. Mr. Nsarkoh is a product of the University of Cape Coast with a Diploma in Psychology and Foundations of Education. He is currently in the same school pursuing a -2 year Bachelor of Education ( Junior High school). Mr Nsarkoh believes that every child has untapped potential waiting to be discovered so with dedication and commitment he provides comprehensive support to every child that comes under his academic watch.

Aisha Gloria Bangoura
Deputy Head, French Teacher & Donations Manager
Aisha has been with the school for over 13 years, teaching French and managing in-kind donations. She plays a critical role in supporting both academic programming and resource mobilization. Aisha holds a Bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Cape Coast.

Bright Gbeve
Teacher & Program Coordinator
Bright teaches Religious and Moral Education and Science, and oversees the school’s extracurricular activities, including music and dance. He plays a key role in program planning and implementation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast.

Innocent Nii Mensah
Pre-School Teacher & Sports Coordinator
With 13 years of service, Innocent teaches pre-school and coordinates the school’s sports and music initiatives. He fosters early childhood development, teamwork, and creativity. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Montessori and Cambridge Education from United Montessori College, Ghana.

Stephen Burner Boryor
Social Studies
Secretary of the Youth for God and Country Movement
Stephen Buernor Boryor is a dedicated Ghanaian educator with over 10 years of teaching and mentorship experience. He is pursuing a B.A. in Education (English major, Religion and Human Values minor) at the University of Cape Coast. He currently teaches Social Studies at St. Nicholas Preparatory School and previously taught English Language and prepared BECE candidates at TEMA Brotherhood Preparatory School. He serves as Secretary of the Youth for God and Country Movement. Skilled in classroom management, communication, and guitar music direction, he is committed to inspiring young learners.

Isaac Agbolosoo
Teacher, Cadet Instructor & Health Coordinator
Isaac teaches Science and Mathematics and leads both the cadet program and health education efforts. A respected figure in the school community, he promotes leadership, discipline, and well-being. He holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Cape Coast and a Certificate in First Aid from the Ghana First Aid Society.

Clement Tagbor
Teacher & Media Team
Clement has taught Basic 3 for over 11 years and supports the school’s internal and external communications as part of the media team. He holds a Diploma in Systems Engineering and Networking from IPMC University College.

Philemon Martey
Ghanaian Language Teacher
Philemon promotes local language literacy and cultural identity through his teaching. He also supports sports activities at the school. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Cape Coast.

Philip Amegago
English Teacher & Library Coordinator
Philip leads the English program and manages the school library, fostering literacy and critical thinking. He holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Cape Coast.

Doris Koryekpor
Pre-School Teacher
With 13 years of experience, Doris is deeply committed to early childhood education. She creates nurturing and structured learning environments for the youngest learners. She holds an International Certificate in Montessori Theory from United Montessori College, Ghana.

Wilhelmina Kunkrah
Teacher & Health Team
Wilhelmina teaches Basic 1 and supports student health services. Her nurturing approach and long-standing commitment have made her a key figure in foundational education. She holds a Diploma in Basic Education from the University of Cape Coast.

Josephine Damalie
Teacher & Assistant Cadet Instructor
Josephine teaches Basic 2 and serves as Assistant Cadet Instructor, supporting character development through discipline and leadership activities. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Basic Education from the University of Cape Coast.

Antoinette N’suago
French Teacher
Antoinette brings 9 years of experience in French language instruction. She is also a mentor in the Girls Empowerment Club, fostering confidence and cultural awareness. She holds a Diploma in Montessori Education from United Montessori College, Ghana.

Joseph Tetteh Agbakla
Teacher-Grade four
The facilitator for grade four learners. He is results-driven educator (BSc Education, Agricultural Science) from the university of education, Winneba with more than 7 years experience in teaching, data collection, and community engagement. Skilled in communication, problem-solving, and classroom management. Proficient in technology integration and passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments.

Henrietta Simpson is a dedicated preschool facliltator,over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Holding a Bachelor degree in child development, Henrietta specializes in creating play -based curriculum that fosters social - emotional growth and pre-literacy skills.l believe in nurturing each child's curiosity in a safe inclusive environment and enjoys collaborating with families to support holistic development of the learner. I love country side and gospel music and also helping young children.

Dedicated lady who enjoys teaching, had Diploma in education at Center for Teacher Development Ghana and a Diploma in Suger Craft at Cake Tekniks International and has just finished a four years Degree program in Education Majoring in English and Ghanaian language at Cape Coast University

Forgive leads vocational training in fashion and textile arts, offering students hands-on skills and creative expression. She holds an HND in Fashion and Textile Technology from Accra Technical University.

Lawrence Amesawu
IT Teacher, Media & STEM Coordinator
Lawrence teaches IT and leads the STEM program, while also contributing to media and digital storytelling. He holds a Diploma in Software Development from Open Labs Ghana.
