Losing a loved one is never easy, and we bid a heartfelt goodbye to Captain Alkiviadis Adam Kappas during a 40-day memorial service held on November 9, 2024. This sombre yet celebratory service, hosted in the Greek Orthodox Church on our school premises, brought together students, staff, parents, and friends to honour his incredible life and legacy.Tributes flowed, with many recounting the profound impact of his selfless contributions to the school and the lives of countless children in the Tema Newtown community. The school’s cadet corps, music band, and composers’ club paid tribute with moving performances. Captain Kappas was a steadfast pillar of support for our school, and though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in knowing he lives on through the lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace, a true man of valour.
